Answering to the question of what was one of his most satisfying and remarkable professional experiences as a freelance illustrator, he mentioned an adventurous trip on a luxurious passenger liner in the Indian Ocean, teaching airbrush techniques to a far-reaching audience, an experience which triggered off his illustration period devoted to sea travel, including breathtaking views of the America's Cup winners, which led to the production of a brilliantly illustrated international yacht calendar, exhibiting awe-inspiring depictions of vessels from a rarely seen perspective. Currently, Panteli lives and works in London, or anywhere customers may commission him to work, worldwide. Amongst ongoing projects is an illustrated book on the boating world of Cyprus mingled with relaxed Mediterranean flair, and a photographic venture trip to the ancient mountains of Greece, where he will capture past centuries of Hellenic architecture and frame them in fascinating azure heavens.
